If you have concerns about the welfare of a person in custody at HMP Northumberland, you can contact our Safer Custody line on 01670 383713. Please note this is an automated telephone, where you will be required to leave a voicemail message. Staff members are able to listen to voicemail messages during the hours of 7:30am until 4pm.

Furthermore, this number is for welfare concerns only, not for general enquiries such as visits information, healthcare or PIN enquiries.

Outside of these hours or in the case of an emergency, please contact the switchboard on 01670 383 100 and the member of staff will direct you to the correct place.
